RULES & REGULATIONS
1. All exhibitors are required to pay a fee of $5.00 to be submitted with your entry form.
2. Entry forms must be submitted to Kathleen Clodd by the 6th of June so that entry tags can be made out in advance.
3. Craft entries only may be dropped off Friday
June 10th from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00p.m. only. Entries must be in the exhibit
building by 8:15a.m. until 12:00 noon for judging.
4. Exhibits must remain on display from 8:30a.m. on June 11th until 4:00 p.m. on June 12th.
5. Each exhibitor is allowed ONE entry in each
section. Each baking item is to be COVERED WITH A SEALABLE BAG ON A
FORM PLATE OR BOARD. PLEASE ENSURE PRESERVES ARE EASILY OPENED, SEAL NOT
BROKEN .
6. NO COMMERCIAL MIXES OR FILLINGS AND NO GLASS PLATES PLEASE.
7. All exhibits must be WORK MAKE BY EXHIBITOR WITHIN THE LAST YEAR AND UNUSED.
8. While the society will take all reasonable precautions to ensure safety of the exhibits, the exhibits are placed at the owners risk.
9. All judges' decisions are final.
10. A BAKE AUCTION will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2p.m. (May be subject to change)
11. If paying by cheque, please make it payable to MILLBROOK AGRUCULTURAL SOCIETY – HOMECRAFT
12. All classes are open to both men and women and any age group the exception of young talents and Golden Age.
13. Prize money and sponsors may be subject to change.

Tips for exhibiting flowers:
-Cut flowers early in the morning
-Roses cut a second time under water for best results
-Remove all foliage that is below the neck of your containers
-Choose specimens carefully
-Full bloom, some that are almost mature, some partly open and some tight buds with future blooms to come
-Specimens should be cut in the cool of the day. Cut your specimens cleanly with sharp knife or prunes, strip lower leaves and put in lukewarm water at once. Place in a cool place for a few hours or overnight.
