Hello friends,
My name is Al Lang, your President of the Millbrook Agricultural Society. This year we celebrate 175 years as an Agricultural Society and host the 173rd Fair. We lost 2 years with COVID as did everyone. So we are already planning for some big things in two years, stay tuned for that.

We as a community group would like to acknowledge that the Millbrook Fairgrounds are located on the Treaty 20 Michi Saagiig territory, in the traditional territory of the Michi Saagiig Anishnaabeg. We offer our gratitude to First Nations for their care for and teachings about these lands.

I would like to acknowledge the many volunteers and directors that work throughout the year and put in the hard work and planning that is necessary to make the fair a success. Without their work it wouldn’t happen. The fair has been a staple in the community for many years long before my time.  We acknowledge past board members, presidents and volunteers for their work and commitment to a community event that stands the test of time.

This years fair is full of new and exciting events as well as past favourites, for two nights of truck and tractor pulling on Friday and Saturday night. We also have our antique tractor pull Saturday afternoon. Impact Motorsports brings democross on Thursday night and back again on Sunday for the big demolition derby show. We have lawnmower racing, an enhanced Midway, Petting zoo, Beef Cattle show, Horse Show , Rabbit show, Kids day, a Parade, homecraft show and much more.  

Special note – Saturday night Pure Country 105 and the Millbrook Agricultural Society presents a live
concert featuring Ty Baynton in our indoor concert venue. As a rising Country Music star Ty will bring a boot stomping amazing time. Bring your cowboy hats and boots!

As we grow as a community, we still remember our roots. The Township of Cavan Monaghan and village of Millbrook are a heart to a rural agricultural/farming playground and those who have made it their home are becoming part of this all inclusive and all welcoming family.
