Hello friends,
My name is Al Lang, the President of the Millbrook Agricultural Society. As a local community
group, we would like to acknowledge that the Millbrook Fairgrounds are located on the Treaty
20 territory, in the traditional territory of the Michi Saagiig Anishnaabeg. We offer our gratitude
to First Nations for their care of and teachings about these lands.
This year we celebrate another milestone for the Millbrook Agricultural Society. We host the
175th annual fair. The board of directors in cooperation with the Cavan Monaghan council and
staff are extremely excited and proud to continue to host this event.
It is a culmination of volunteers partnering with community groups, businesses and organizations
that make this all happen. I extend my heart felt thank you to those folks who sacrifice personal
and family time to plan, organize and execute a massive community event for all to enjoy. Your
dedication and commitment to the local and surroundings communities is truly remarkable.
This years fair is full of new and exciting events that reflect and celebrate the past 175 years.
Our indoor entertainment venue the “Beer Barn “hosts a family line dancing night on Thursday.

take home 1 of 4 new bicycles.
For those looking to indulge in carnival foods and merchandise we are pleased to welcome over

surroundings red buildings
NEXICOM has bolstered its wireless infrastructure throughout the grounds and is providing
complementary WiFi for all those in attendance. (Thank you Nexicom)
This year the board of directors reached out to local business owners and community groups to
seek sponsorship and donations to help us provide all the services and amenities as well as some
added 175th celebratory items to the fair. We would like to thank the many generous financial
donations as well as those who donated equipment and or services before and during the fair.
Special mention to this years Gold Sponsors – Town and Country, Eagleson’s Excavation,
Nexicom and Cavan Monaghan Township. A truly remarkable example of community
organizations and businesses all chipping in to make the 175th fair memorable for all.
